The Butterfly Botanical Gardens at Finca Naturales is a living laboratory of nature conservancy, and an example of sustainable development, where you will see a variety of butterflies, as well as flora, including precious tropical hardwood trees ranging from 150 to 200 years old.
Visitors are able to observe the life cycle of butterflies in its four stages of metamorphosis, as well as having the opportunity to spot the Cara Blanca, Howler and Titi monkeys. These animals use the refuge as a biological corridor, which is connected to the adjacent Manuel Antonio National Park.
