Manuel Antonio has some of the best restaurants in Costa Rica!
Restaurante El Avión
El Avion is a fun experience for the whole family. This unique restaurant offers you a little bit of history along with a tropical dining experience. Have a drink in the cockpit or enjoy your dinner overlooking the ocean. This aircraft was brought here piece by piece after it had crashed and landed in Panama. They offer a wonderful variety of food… everything from All American to Oriental Fried Rice. It’s sure to please every member of your family.
Ronnie’s Place “Mi Lugar”
Ronnie’s Place offers you an appetizing menu with a Costa Rican flair. Perched on a ridgeline with a magnificent sunset ocean view this is one of our favorite places to share a pitcher of Margarita’s and some authentic ceviche with chips. Ronnie, the owner has been a famous chef locally for years and when he finally opened his own restaurant he named it “Mi Lugar” (My Place). But all anyone could talk about was “Ronnie’s new place” and so it became known as just “Ronnie’s Place”.
El Gato Negro
Located directly across the street from The El Avion Restaurant this is our favorite Italian Restaurant. On Monday nights you can also enjoy live music from our most popular singer in town, Fuzzy Rojas.
Located at the Costa Verde Hotel, Anaconda Restaurant has an amazing jungle ocean view. Its menu offers a wonderful verity of fresh seafood, ribs or Chicken in a delightful Gorgonzola Sauce.
Enjoy fine dining at “Le Papillon” while gazing upon one of the finest views of any restaurant in the world. The International French influenced cuisine is the perfect compliment to this decadent setting. Also visit the Sunset Bar and Lounge and enjoy a tropical cocktail while enjoying Manuel Antonio’s legendary sunsets.
Hovering high on a hill Barba Roja has stunning views overlooking the jungle and ocean. Its theme is of an old Pirate Ship and has long been one of the more popular Costa Rican restaurants in Manuel Antonio. On Saturday night Barba Roja burst into life with music and dancing. There’s an outdoor patio made out to look like the front of a ship, where you can sit for hours taking in the view or the stars.
